MISSION STATEMENT:Our club and its coaches seek to introduce young men to the sport of rugby, educate and train them in the personal and team skills necessary to winning rugby, and promote the culture of sportsmanship unique to this historic game.

• Congratulations to the Plymouth Panthers Rugby Club - winners of the Hopkins Raspberry Festival 7's Rugby Tournament !!!

Congratulations to everyone participating in the Raspberry Fest High School Rugby Tournament July 19th. The boys ran out the winner kicking  off the day with a 17-10 win over Southside (this seasons MN High School state Champions). Next game was Minnetonka which ended in a draw. Our final game was against South with a 23-12 win.

  Look back here occasionally for update on the season ahead. We look forward to an exciting 2009 season with alot of players returning. If you have not done so, keep informed by joining our email lists. Instructions on how to do so are below.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• We have created two new email list groups thru Google Groups. PPRFC-NEWS and PPRFC-LOOSE. These will act as mail servers to post information, ask questions, and comments. PPRFC-NEWS will be only for the coaches to post information for the team. This will be for more sensitive information we don't want to post on the web site. PPRFC-LOOSE will be for chat amongst coaches, team members and parents. Anybody can post information to PPRFC-LOOSE; however, we will monitor for inappropriate content. If you have signed up and already given us your email address, you will automatically be put on these lists.

To join:

• send an email to "plymouthpanthersadmin@gmail.com".
• In the subject line put: "REQUESTING TO JOIN PPRFC NEW AND LOOSE".
• If you are a players, in the body of the email, put your name, grade, and school you attend.
• If you are a parents, just put "Parent of ..." in the body of the email.
• If you don't put this information, we will reject your request!!! We will take the email address under which you sent the email, and use that as the address for your membership. After we have added you to the group, you will receive a emails with links to confirm your membership.
